QUICK MISO RICE
I spent most of the morning learning about blogging. The next time I looked at the clock, it was almost 2pm. A quick rummage through the cupboards and fridge produced this easy yet delicious lunch. Not totally pure nor organic, but it is hot, tasty, and the seaweed is good for you. Here’s how:
Into a bowl, add leftover rice from the fridge, sprinkle over a sachet of instant miso soup (I use the Kikkoman Spinach Miso soup) and a handful of dried wakame seaweed, and sliced spring onions (if you have it). Bring some water to boil in your kettle, and pour over enough water to cover everything. Let stand for 3 minutes, and there you have it…a heart-warming one-dish lunch. For me, it beats a sandwich anytime!
Especially good for those days when you are running late and need something quick and easy.
